The Cavalieri del Coro Bosconiano is a Roman Catholic liturgical choir serving in St. John Bosco Parish & Center for Young Workers of Sta Rosa City, Laguna. They serve in Saturday evening Anticipated Masses. They always deliver their services live every time they serve.
The group was originally founded in Dec 2017 by the singing Choir Director - Allan A S Paloma (Bass/Keyboard), with Bobbie Fuerte (Alto) AJ Noma (Tenor), Phine Guevarra (Soprano) and Paul Guevarra (Guitarist), backed by the occasional presence of the Paloma Family singers Zarah & BJ, Lucy, & Jomari (Bassist). The group were simply called the 745SAT CHOIR DB (in their Viber GC). No official name was given to the group that time.
In 2021, when Allan and family relocated to Cavite, Paul assumed responsibility over the choir’s services and eventually named the group Sabado Knights, as they are serving the Saturday Anticipated Mass. Later in the same year, Rose Tubeo and son, Max, as well as the couple Carlo & Rowena Macaventa (also members of the former group, Koro Salesiano), joined as singers.
In Feb 2022, Allan re-assumed the role of Choir Director upon his family’s relocation back to the area of St. John Bosco Parish. By then, more singers have since joined: Anthony Estabaya (Rose’s husband), Pia Ann Meily (Max’s GF), Judith Guiyab and Lani Joseph. The group agreed to rename the group to Cavalieri del Coro Bosconiano or Knights of Bosconian Chorus.
They are bonded by the common passion and commitment to serve God through music in the Salesian Community of St. John Bosco Parish & Center for Young Workers. The group also aims to promote perfection in their kind of music in as much as following the church’s liturgical music teachings and mandates.
